Be careful out there in the next couple of days
Several of us are in the paths of predicted tornadic activity. Already had one hit my neighborhood a few years back.

Little Rock and Jonesboro really close to the action, with Monroe and Murfreesboro/Nashville on the outskirts.

Tuscaloosa was hit really bad. I hear from many Alabama students that some of campus was hit as well.

Loss of life up to 128 as of this morning. Birmingham was hit hard as well. Don't forget that Alabama was hit with devastating tornadoes from a line rounds of storms back on April 15.

I woke up yesterday to find out a tornado went over my house and touched down about a mile outside of town. It uprooted some big trees beside my sons school as they were getting on the bus to come home. Thankfully no major damage around here.

Two years ago on Good Friday when a tornado tore through Murfreesboro, I saw it up close, no more than a hundred yards away (a woman and her child were killed just a few houses up the road), and I don't ever want to be that close to another one. Prayers to all those families affected. TV now reporting over 200 dead from the devastation yesterday.

That is an amazing piece of video.

I lived in Tuscaloosa for 3 years...commuted back to Lafayette every two weeks...

I went through that intersection(McFarland Blvd @ 15th) 10 times a day. At the very end of the video they showed a service station .....Thats the RaceTrac where I always filled my ride up for my 6.5 hour journey home...

Tuscaloosa is a great place. I still maintain alot of friendships there. The devastation and loss of life in this awesome college town sickens me....

Kajun, I dont know how extensive the damage is on campus... The original Dreamland is south of the interstate in Jerusalem Heights....I doubt that there was any damage there....

While Tuscaloosa and Birmingham got hit pretty hard by the large tornado, Cullman and Pleasant Grove both got hit much harder. Especially Pleasant Grove, it was completely flattened.
