Artist Rendition of Troy Stadium Field House Addon
Don't know if this is official or not, but i like the idea to add extra seating to close the gap between the old stands and the new football complex. If they do it to one side though, they should do it to the other side too.

Thoughts?

The red spots on the football complex are new chair-back priority seating. They will be "cardinal" like the rest of the chair-backs at VMS instead of that bright red you see in the rendering.

Its not closed on one side, both sides are open, what you are seeing is a shadow. Look closely you will see the brick facade

I'd prefer that it'd be closed. They need to make another rendering at a better angle.

The only empty seats are on the "fieldhouse".

And I guess all extra points and field goals occur on the near side of the field.

I hope the video board will be larger than that... i'd like to see a board like ULM or Miss State's instead of that small thing.

One side looks closed to me. Both sides should be closed, at least on the first level.

Where did you find that rendering?
From the renderings and elevations I have seen the scale of that is substantially off. The building will be between 78 and 80 feet tall at its roof line and contain 5 floors of locker rooms, offices, stadium club area and seating, and suites.
For scale, the stadium tower to the left in this rendering is a 6 story structure. Your elevationd scale are not accurate.

It looks like they just took the rendering of the football complex and pasted there in photoshop. I'm pretty sure it's not to scale or an official rendering. Probably just preliminary ideas.

Just an FYI on using the stadium tower as reference....the ground floor of that structure is not at field level like the endzone building will be. The scale looks to be off regardless.

The stadium building is at ground level, but the ground there is a bit higher (maybe one story?) than the ground in the open end zone.
