RE: Navy Not Dismissing Sailor Found in Another's Bunk
Wait, the guys were clothed, one was on top of the sheets and one was underneath, one asleep, one partially, when "caught." I have breeder friends over all the time, and they can crash in my bed, I take the floor, but are you actually saying just because two guys are in their pjs or boxers together that they are gay? Really? Nice assumption..... but that would make almost EVERY athlete in this country gay, and I find that laughable. So yes, you are arguing a completely invalid and rediculous point, but PLEASE continue! It is what you do best!

and the world isn't ending, you just like to post like everything IS the end of the world. And You police just as hard as anyone, so don't try that crap. I was simply saying it's a moot point, if you actually read more than the single article at the end you linked. (which was 3/4 days old at the time of positing, I might add.) You imply that things were going on that weren't, so it is YOU who are wrong. Not I. kthxbai.

You are welcome, if this seems like the world is ending to you, you have a low emotional threshold. I'm not against anyone's lifestyle choices. But service men and service women when on gov't property should refrain from any public displays of affection. They have a job to do. Just like when you are on your employers property. They made the choice to be on that property, same as you, and should show respect. This means not bunking together. Get in your head, the board doesn't need a policeman on each and every subject the concerns gays. Opinions vary and you should respect that.
Well, it is one of two things. You are either lying about the bolded portion of your comments or you are secretively gay and don't want to admit it to the board(being a "family values republican", the second seems like a good possibility). I am pretty sure that Torchy or Bull_in_Exile can find you a good priest that eliminate that gay from you since it is a learned behavior and you aren't born that way. 03-lmfao

Tell me what it is called when your only sexual relationship revolves around a blow up doll? I'll just suffice it to say Roberta you are a sexual deviant.
Safe sex?

Nothing against gays, but if true, this is a slippery slope. You can say "well it's just a couple guys, they're not hurting anyone." problem is, once there's a starting point, it doesn't get more conservative, the conduct only gets more liberal. What would the military be like with a bunch of the guys and girls having open relationships with each other? What would it be like if the relationships got wilder and more open? I fail to see how that could be good for morale

Yes he does, he says the fell asleep watching The Vampire Diaries. 03-lmfao

And, again, you are making assumption, Swoosh. I could say the same thing about Twilight, or many many many other things. Do you/did you watch Golden Girls?

Quote:His attorney Gary Myers and an advocacy group for gay service members have said the Navy wanted to get rid of him because he was suspected of being gay. However, Myers said last month, there was no proof and no admission of homosexuality or homosexual conduct.

Not sure why a straight guy would have a gay group advocating for him.

you could say the same thing about Twilight and i would once again make the same assumption. 2 dudes do not lie in a bed together and watch Twilight.

And no, i don't watch Golden Girls, but that show was much more high brow than either Twilight or vampire diaries. Honestly, you could hardly have picked a worse show to use as a comparison. Twilight and Vampire Diaries appeal to girls between 9-25. Girls

Swoosh, you missed it, I was saying if you EVER watched any part of Golden Girls, you are just as gay as these service men. Good lord....maybe the gay rights group was pissed off because they were targetting someone for something supposedly GAY IN NATURE, by implication, when it wasn't... but that's just where my mind goes.

Also, I do respect y'alls opinions, and the fact that outside of Robert and Lord Stanley, I'm the only one saying anything other than "Defend the hetero-sexist military, and shove the obviously queer guy out! I mean, he must be one of those gays since he's watching vampire diaries with another dude!" and such.... sorry if that offended anyone's delicate sensibilities....

If Swoosh were watching Golden Girls IN BED WITH ANOTHER MAN, he would be just as gay as these guys.

Again, a straight guy would tell the advocacy group, thanks but no thanks, you will only hurt my case. He already looks gay and they just make him appear to be a liar to boot.

exactly. There's nothing gay about watching Golden Girls, although I still can't say I've ever actually sit down to watch it.

still don't agree. Twilight and Vampire Diaries are for young girls (mostly teens). Golden Girls was never meant for that demo

Hey, I watched GG. Of course, I had to because my grandma watched it. The "dirty old ladies" as she used to say.
