Z seems to be off this week, so I'll fill in for him. It's all IT's fault. Ever since he came to FIU, the sunbelt has been a train wreak.

TastyGreek would say it was the poor OOC scheduling of the other teams why UNT lost so many games after a hot start and was out of contention as a bubble team.

As a FIU fan, I have to put the blame squarely on the owls. You know you conference is bad when a 20+ win team rush the court for all home games. 04-cheers

who cares if we rush the court, we have new fans and they are excited, at least we have fans showing up.

The problem was sending a mediocre UALR to get beat by UNC-Asheville in a 16-seed play-in game.

So we should have sent a mediocre MT, WKU, FAU, FIU, Troy, USA, ASU, UNT, Denver, ULL, or ULM instead?

I think you're being charitable to ULM to call them "mediocre".

The rest of us, yep. Spot on.

I agree just about anyone could have won or lost this game and then would've been pounded by Pitt based on the way everyone was playing at the end of the season. North Texas and FAU would've likely avoided this game but I felt neither was playing their best ball. This was arguably the worst season of hoops since the league was formed to be considered even worse than the Low V C is hard to take. I sure hope everyone comes out firing on all cylinders next season. We have to win non-conference games, against what are considered inferior or equal teams at least, period.
