I agree, obviously a big mistake. Originally it's written as Louisiana-Lafayette and someone at the Cajun Red Zone changes it to Louisiana...usually that's what happens. Just typical over-correction on someone's part. Honest mistake.

I'm actually enjoying your cute little posts lately. It's really funny that you care so much about my opinion. It's also funny that I said no one outside of Lafayette refers to you as University of Louisiana or UL and yet you continue to link these stories calling you simply Louisiana something I never questioned, let alone denied, but whatever brother, you keep it up, I'm loving your obsession with my opinion.

If you just knew the history --you would easily understand the passion!!!! The planets (including the new one discovered by our UL Scientists) are starting to line up in the needed order!!!!!

I don't think he was referring to you, gene. The "nobody calls you 'that' outside of Lafayette" line came long before you, and has been used by many, other than you.

I don't believe I've seen anyone on this board, outside of maybe an occasional La Tech troll say that nobody outside of Lafayette uses Louisiana. So I'm not sure who he was directing it at, if it wasn't at me.

I think we all get it on this board, the athletic branding of Louisiana is catching on. I look forward to dozens of posts from Z every time some obscure blogger, OOC opponent's schedule, or high school newspaper refers to ULL's athletics as Louisiana. It's a strong contribution to the board and something we're all deeply interested in.

Kudos on another feather in your hat Cajun fans, check sports exchange off the list.
