it must be nice to have a job where you can legislate your own pay and benefits. if these people were CEOs they'd all be long gone. and 5% is far, far too little for it to be meaningful or symbolic. they should also cut $$$ for their staff and office budgets. A quick seach found that the budget for congress alone is over $5 billion large.
