That's what tear gas and mace are for....
Wisconsin State Police have asked the insurgents to leave the state capitol peacefully and voluntarily, most have refused. If I were governor, I'd tell the state police, "THAT'S WHAT TEAR GAS AND MACE ARE FOR!!!". 04-nuke

RE: That's what tear gas and mace are for....
I remember sitting in the US Capitol Building, waiting for the 70+ students to come through security in the late 90's, on my 8th grade visit to DC.... the Capitol Police came through, and made us all stand. we had to stand for over an hour, because, sitting could be construed as a protest, and disrupt the functioning of Congress. Also, we weren't allowed to hum, or speak above a whisper, due to echoing.

I've always found that a bit harsh. Then again, I've always thought, if someone with a gun tells you to do something, you probably shouldn't argue much.

I'm more afraid of the asps. Those things HURT like a hell! I got whacked in the arm with one, by a friend in the BCSO... I thought he broke my arm.

I think you've piqued the interest of a lot of parents who see that you may have found a way to keep 8th graders still and quiet for over an hour. It involved guns, you say? More details, please.

Cut the Power and Heat to the building and that may get them out of there. The Wisconsin House and Senate aren't in session anyway.

Bring in about 25 Paddy Wagons and give the Order to leave. As soon as you get about 10-15% of the people to leave, the remainder will give up.

German Shepherds, Dobermans, and Firehouses work well on the outside of the building.

You are advocating unleashing dogs on a peaceful protest?

Considering the number of Media People and Tea Party Members that have been hit by bottles and assaulted by Union Thugs in the past two weeks outside the Wisconsin Capitol Building, it hardly qualifies as a peaceful protest.

Let them stay as long as they want.

Because as the garbage piles up, as their tempers flare, and as protestors continue to chant hyperbole and wave more and more ridiculous signs, the public will continue to turn against thme in bigger and bigger numbers.

A drum circle and communist literature never changed a thing.
