SO LONG AS YOU PAY PROPERTY TAX ... you are owning nothing and merely leasing from the government. Property Tax is an affront to and attack on property rights ... one of THE most basic rights there is.
I disagree. Gov't provides legit services and property tax is a logical way to assess consideration for those services.
However, I do fully support your right to secede from any government, and render any tax obligation void.
Keep in mind, it's tough for an individual to make it on his/her own. Trade embargoes make it difficult to get goods and services. Bandits/raiders/military forces can easily come and take your property from you. That may not be "right" but it's reality. Better to be part of a bigger government that offers legitimate protection for a reasonable tax assessment.

Let me approach from a different angle: property tax abridges your free speech because it prevents you from protesting the government by withholding tax dollars. If we had a Fair Tax, and you were disgusted with the government, you could refuse to buy things, and thereby starve the beast. We had the ability to tax protest in the country all the way up until the Income Tax amendment in 1913. The same, year, by non-coincidence, that we introduced the Federal Reserve.

That might work if you wanted to beat down a business. But when you do it to the government they'll just raise the tax on the people who do buy things.
Anyway, as long as the government can force you to sell your land (and require you to get your own appraisal since their offer will be a lowball one) any ownership of land seems to be, well, partial, at best.
