Looks more like a Chair Force form, or what this guy filled out: http://www.navytimes.com/news/2011/02/na...e-020911w/

I wonder if these army soldiers were allowed to fill out those chits. Evidently, they were ineffective in their implementation.

Never mind; it's just womens' opinions which don't matter. If it weren't for spousal obligation, Torchy would never get laid.

As the "culture" of the US military is continually re-shaped and re-molded to more closely resemble the culture of US civilian life, Americans can be glad that our armed forces will -- hopefully -- be less and less likely to be sent into combat, yet sad that (if they ever are sent into combat) they will -- probably -- be less and less capable of winning.

I was in the Navy during the late 70s and my son is serving now. These guys are GOOD. The level of professionalism is much higher in todays Navy than anything I experienced. (I served under President Carter and those were dark days for the military) I am proud of our sailors, soldiers, airmen and marines.

DA's will routinely elect not to prosecute cases that they feel they can't win, even though a law has likely been broken.

In this case, the law is on the way out; it is not constitutionally tenable. Bravo to the President and AG for realizing this and not wasting MY MONEY on a case which will eventually be overturned.

I also mentioned the victimless crime aspect. Do you believe that rape is a victimless crime?

Also worth noting is that the standards of evidence that apply in civilian court do not necessarily apply in military courts. It is easier to get convictions under the UCMJ.

I have the utmost respect for our men in uniform who serve honorably and carry out their oaths faithfully.

I don't have any respect for those who soil this reputation through the commission of atrocities or by hiding behind the uniform to commit crimes against their fellow servicemembers.
