Kill them all before they get here, and you won't have to worry anymore.

I've actually heard a "pro-choice" person offer that line of reasoning as a sincere, deliberate argument. He wasn't talking about "hippies", he was talking about a different group of people. But the underlying rationale was exactly the same, and this one particular person embraced it as a perfectly normal, "reasonable" point of view.

Granted, that was a long time ago, and it was just one person. But still, when I hear "intelligent", "educated" people talk that way, it leaves a lasting impression.

That's eugenics. Planned Parenthood was founded by a eugnicist. That mission still holds today.

Now that the bar has been set I would hope this also applies to liberals when they spout their rhetoric.

Our women do, yes. Compared to yours who like muff, or just about anyone or anything else.

Female reproductive freedom does not equal eugenics. I think you are confused on the definition.

True, although in the case of Ms. Sanger (who Torch referred to), she was an enthusiastic supporter of both. Since PP to this day celebrates her life and legacy (of which aggressive, outspoken advocacy of eugenics was such a crucial part), it seems fair to say that PP is, at least, "open" to that outlook.

Supporters of eugenics, in my experience, are a small but persistent faction of the larger "pro-choice" group. I know people who think abortion should be legal for any reason or no reason, and at every stage of pregnancy, yet do not (at least, not consciously) support eugenics. Yet every person I know (or know of) who supports eugenics is also "pro-choice".
