If there is one thing that the coaches should
have figured out by now, is that we're a better team with Matt in the lineup. It seems like the coaches are the only ones who have persisted in limiting his playing time when it has been obvious that he's as good as the best we have. And have you also noticed that in the two losses we sustained on last second shots, he was not in the game. In fact, the man who substituted for him committed the horrible foul that cost us the ULL game. If we lose I want Matt on the floor on offense and defense at the end of the game. Then I'll know we gave it our best shot.

You guys think I'm the only one seeing this. I hear it from numerous people. If it's a matchup thing, then could we do any worse with Matt in there at the end then the ones who have been part of the losses? The only thing that might help salvage the season is start giving him the minutes he deserves, which should be just as many as Solo or anyone else. Stop trying to appease the young kids and play the guy who has proven himself over and over. There will be time for the young guys to have their day in the sun. It shouldn't have been this year. Big mistake on part of the coaches. In a normal situation, it would cost them their jobs. Probably not at UALR. As Scotto says, those lifetime contracts are good for a long time.04-cheers

Yes, but barely, according to BTH's plus/minus.

Yes, but why look at the "facts". Apparently, Marlo is the guy you want in the lineup no matter what his stats may be. Coach mentioned he does a lot of little things most to notice.

I assume you meant that "he does a lot of little things that most fail to notice."

He's right, I haven't noticed them.

The horse is only dead when the coaches get the message. Then you won't have to see it here anymore. But you'd think after two years someone would take the hint. Especially after 24 point and 17 point games, the only two I can recall this season when given the minutes approriate for his contribution to the team.04-cheers
