Garry Kasparov reviews a biography of Bobby Fischer
It's a long review, but even if you don't care about "chess", per se, it still includes great insights into the Cold War, the nature of fame, and the ways that rare talents -- and God knows, Fischer was a rare talent -- are given special indulgences denied to the rest of us. A great article.

Good review. I have Brady's Profiles of a Chess Prodigy, which was interesting to read. There's a different book that talked about Fischer in relation to the cold war, White King and Red Queen.
