I can see the ESPN commercial now:
I'd never committed an act of ecoterrorism before, but now...Roll Tide.
This is unbelievable! I clown with Tech and ULM folks all the time, but to even think about doing something like this is a mental illness... I hope they catch this moron.

I agree that's monumentally dumb. So, what' the revenge for Auburn fans? P in the crimson tide?
I'm not condoning what happened to the trees... I think it was a despicable act. However, I think this was an Alabama fans' retaliation to Auburn acts:
-- vandalizing Bear Bryant's tombstone
-- burying a picture of Auburn Coach Pat Dye under Bear Bryant's tombstone
-- putting a Cam Newton jersey on Bear Bryant's statue
-- rolling the tree when Bear Bryant died
-- rolling the tree when Tyrone Prothro broke his ankle in the Florida game 2005
-- rolling the tree when Alabama lost in the SEC Championship 2008
-- vandalizing Nick Saban's Lake House and painted his boat house orange and blue after Alabama's loss to South Carolina in 2010
-- placing Auburn national championship stickers on Bear Bryant's statue
-- planting ryegrass in front of the Alabama's Walk of Champions to reflect a 28-27 score from the 2010 Iron Bowl
Again, I am not condoning this because I hate that Auburn fans will lose their tree... but their acts were begging for a redneck to do something like this.
