Offer out to Antonio Morrison OLB 6'3" 220 lbs. from Bollingbrook HS, Ill. We also signed LB Mike Hellams from the same school last year. We now have a total of 9 offers out.

I believe the number of offers we have out there now is a lot more than we've had out in past years under previous regimes. It obviously doesn't matter a whole lot but it does show the increased visibility we've been getting as a respectable program.

I have heard we have offered Ike Spearman OLB 6'2" 215 lbs. Lake Central HS, Ind.

Good, that NW Indiana area produces a ton of players. I love that I-80 corridor from Joliet to Michigan City.BTW, that is for players not scenery.

Theta, do you know if any of the coaching staff were at any of the "combines" that were run in Ann Arbor or Indianapolis this past weekend. I guess the other question is are they allowed to attend?

I actually like not knowing. Probably easier for our staff to recruit. If they are telling a recruit that they are the number one recruit at a position then you see 5 others with offers, might not believe them

I believe Jabari Dean was offered because of the Michigan camp. The guy I know was an ex-coach who sometimes gets a heads-up on recruiting info. When I say "I have heard", it is unofficial and when I say "offer out to", it is official.

QB Hayden Northern of Martinsville (IN) Martinsville H.S.

Dieter was considered one of the top performers at the Indianapolis combine. Also has a big time WR teammate.

Kill put on some kind of camp in the chicago area every year.
