That's quite the misleading article. Let's show a big-azzed 6" knife, when the ones in question can't be any longer than 2-1/4" with the sheath sewn shut so you can't actuallly take the dull knife out, and it has to be worn under you clothes.

No, you're the one being misleading. I've read cases where students were suspended for bringing a butter knife to school.
Fact is, this is more of the professional education establishment trying to avoid personal risk. That's what they do. They certainly don't educate, and certainly not in Detroit.
