RE: Ranking teams going into 2011 season...
I was just poking a little fun at the name thing so i wasn't trying to make it a name thread. Cajun T i stated earlier that i root for all 3 teams so give me a break. And I know LSU is in Baton Rouge i was poking at fun how ULL tries to refer to themselves as the University of Louisiana. i agree some of the plays called might have cost us a couple of game but a play here or there and ULM could've been 7-5 but the past is the past so i'm looking forward to see how this year turns out being 2nd year for everyone involved with the ULM football team. As for ULL i agree maybe Hudspeth is a better coach then Bustle and we will have to see about them being healthier. I maybe a bit of a homer when it comes to ULM for the obvious reason just look at the screen-name.
But i've been a FSU Football fan for 12 years. I follow UNC basketball reguarly dating back to the Vince Carter years and since Julius Peppers played both Football and Basketball for them. UNC football wise started following a few years ago when Hakeem Nicks was there.

As far as predictions go i wouldn't know i only started following Sun-Belt football this year. Alot of people thought in 2010 that ULM would finish around the bottom of the conference and they didn't. this league is a surprise anybody can beat anybody on a given night. The University of Louisiana is in Baton Rouge not Lafayette....

First, for the record, I think all of this pre-pre-pre season prediction stuff is nonsense.

Second, stop trying to make this a name thread.

And now to my point. You had your best shot at us this past season. If you couldn't beat a team with no confidence, how do expect a much better coached, and presumably healthier Cajun team?

I stand by my comments. Berry cost you some games that you should have won last year.

My favorite part of the basketball game Saturday night? When the man started chanting "block that kick" on one of your player's free throw attempts.

Yep, we had our best (and only, so I guess that's why it's a best shot, duh) shot at you but that's why they called those kind of games "upsets". Kind of like when we upset Alabama...gee, that shouldn't have happened, right?...or when the Cajuns beat Kansas State, also a surprise to many people.

Berry's already done more for this program in one year than we've seen in the previous ten. We're not going to surprise anybody in 2011, just be ready to see us run the ball plenty more.

I wouldn't put the upset at ULM on the same level as either of those upsets, as I think yall were like 7 point favorites. I'm almost 100% sure that in the other 2 upsets mentioned, both teams were no less than 10 point dogs. With that said, yes it was an upset, although a very mild one considering the spread was 7 points, but I wouldn't be surprised if the cajuns won again next year, its just the way of the games in this series, its turning into a pretty heated contest every year.

Also, I'm glad atleast you agree with what I was saying though, I don't think yall will sneak up on anyone, I do think ULM returns enough talent to overcome that fact and will still finish with a decent record and be in the top half of the conference.

Pretty insulting. The only thing good about WKU football just happens to be the part that UNT took? Of course. There couldn't possibly be anything of value left behind. So dismissive. 03-yawn

WKU will make a jump this year. I think 2-4 spots in the belt. WKU will contend in 2012. I've been saying this for three years now and I have not seen anything that changes my mind.

On a related note, WKU has verbals from 7 rivals three star players for 2011. More than any other Belt team.

WKU will improve rapidly from here on out.
