Sounds like they were more tickled than anything...it'll take a sustained effort over the next couple of years, but this is as good a time to start as any...

Yes they laughed at the Sun Belt being in the front of the bowl challenge, but it still got thier attention.

Now the thought process in thier and others head is "Hmm, maybe the 'Belt aint that bad after all"

MTSU winning would really get it done.

Now we all have to win again, next year. Its the only thing that gets peoples attention.

We have to win this game. Please let us win this game. Honestly I think we are as good as any other non aq conference out there except for the MWC, or at least comparable. I wouldn't have said that 4 years ago but the last two to three seasons we have played well.

Here is another thing. You have to have a minimum of 3 bowl games to be apart of the bowl challenge. So up until recently with one or two bowl appearances a year the Sun Belt was not apart of the challenge.

If we end up 3-0 they'll changethe "minimum" to 4 just so they aren't forced to list the sunbelt at the top of the list.
(Caveat - I have little faith in MTSU this year - never know what you will get week to week - Dasher has been the main "problem" from what I have seen - but I'm not an expert on MTSU by any means).
