FB-FAU Stadium suites are selling...
http://www.fauowlaccess.com/blogs/owlthi...adium.aspx

There could be some FAU supporters who find something nice in their stocking this Christmas.

How about a key to one of the new plush and luxurious suites and loge boxes at the new FAU football stadium?

FAU Athletic Director Craig Angelos told FAUOwlAccess.com that three of the suites and three of the loge boxes at the new stadium have already been sold.

“We have some people who have committed, made deposit and will be first in the queue,” Angelos said.

That's pretty good considering the stadium is still in the early stages of construction.

By the way, the suites go for around $100,000 and the loge boxes start at around $12,500 so these are some high-end commitments FAU has landed. For FAU, it’s a good early sign that the market is indeed interested in buying suites for the stadium – and there are more parties who may be coming on board shortly, Angelos said.

“We have others that have said they have verbally committed and others who sound like they are interested to go with those who have already signed the paperwork ,” Angelos said.

Angelos said a sales staff for the suites is being assembled to push the high-end seating. But it looks like FAU is off to a good start already. Let’s hope it continues.

“The players are starting to be put in the right position and we’re starting to ramp up the sales,” Angelos said. "It’s coming together and we will probably start ratcheting up at the beginning of the year.”

Yes, it is right down the street from the Boca Hotel and Club Resort. It's also right across the street from the Royal Palm Golf and Yatch Club development.

Close. As of Monday:

Two are being held off the market: one for whoever will pay for naming rights to the stadium, one for whoever will pay for naming rights for the field.

Two more are "sold" in the sense that there has been favorable response from the potential buyer but paperwork has not been completed and first payment not received. To a salesman, those are sales; to an old (oops; make that former) accountant like me, it ain't a sale until the buyer has signed on the dotted line and money is in.

Two more are "under consideration".

This info from the development office.

Give or take a few numbers, still very good progress since there are still 8 months before the first game. And as an aside, isn't the correct number of suites 17? Not sure about that.

Uestion -
What are the suites at unt and fau going for per year (not total commimment).
Troy's suites are renewing this year. 20' per year for 3 year, 18 per year for a 3 to 5 year commitment and 16 k for up to a 7 year committmnet. Club seats are basically 500 bucks a seat (if you buy 4 seats or more you get the optioon to buy a booz locker seperately).
I gues the suites they are going to build when they close in the north end zone will be arounf the 15k mark but that's a guess.
Thanks.

UNT - $100,000 payable in equal installments over 5 years. Once you have paid $100,000, you own it as long as you keep buying the season tickets. Season tickets are in the neighborhood of $375 per year per seat.

if there is anymore to it, I have forgotten.

Cheaper than having a couple of kids at North Broward Prep.
