Arkansas State: Our sources tell us Arkansas running backs coach Tim Horton is in the mix.

UL-Lafayette: We have learned that Georgia Tech offensive line coach Mike Sewak has already been contacted by ULL. Sewak once served as the head coach at Georgia Southern. Another source tells us that ULL will contact Oklahoma State wide receivers coach Gunter Brewer and Oklahoma State special teams coordinator Joe DeForest.

Arkansas State: From what we understand, ASU Chancellor Dr. G. Daniel Howard is the man who hired Mark Hudspeth as North Alabama. Hudspeth is the wide receivers coach at Mississippi State. We were told Hudspeth is interested in the Arkansas State head coaching job.

Another source tells us that current Arkansas State offensive coordinator Hugh Freeze has several important people supporting him for the job. We have also heard that Memphis defensive line coach Mike Dubose could be contacted by ASU. Of course, Dubose is the former head coach at Alabama.

UL-Lafayette: Senior associate athletic director Scott Farmer will be named interim AD at the end of the semester. ULL will pay a $100,000 buyout to Rickey Bustle, who had one year remaining on his contract.

Yes he is. Might be a great fit; but also hearing he is out of our price range. Brewer and Deforest are both names being spoken in Lafayette. First I've heard of Sewak.

Sewak was really good at Ga Southern. Runs that triple option from the Paul Johnson offense. I think he'd be a great hire.
