Yes they did...for some reason, people expected them to roll over for the Trojans and it's that way against all the SBC teams...The SBC is getting better and it ain't a bad thing.

Jeff Sagarin doesn't think the Sun Belt has gotten better... so Troy must have gotten worse.

people keep comparing a primarily run-heavy defense of the past to a defense that is geared towards stopping the Spread...no real comparison. But, as always, there will be differing opinions on this topic. You'd think TROY lost by how some are carrying on...

This upcoming game against UNT could turn out very badly for MTSU. The UNT that played tonight vs. the MTSU that played on Tuesday would dominate!

Canales has those guys playing with reckless abandon and fighting to win with everything they have...MT better show up or the mean green is gonna show out

I enjoyed my first trip to Denton. Fans here are very friendly. Food is good. Just proud to get out of here with a win. North Texas is improving. Hate the loud cannon.

Well, it's a rebuilding year for us.

esp. on D: entire new DL, 2 new starting LBs, 3 new starting DBs. Many of them are underclassmen. Several key players/back ups are injured, left the team or are academically ineligible, so we also have serious depth issues.

Troy should be pretty solid next year. However, I hope we can somehow replace Jernigan, he is a major difference maker. He won several games for us this year.

I am so sick and tired of seeing this team come so close to winning these games. It just kills me inside because the seniors on this team deserve to be winners and it breaks my heart to watch them go out there time and time again and play their hearts out only to lose the game by less than a TD every time. We very well could have won that game if not for a unnecessary chop block on the opposite side of a play. Instead of 3rd and 2 it became 2nd and 21.

Call me a homer, but I fully believe, this team, fully healthy without 11 starters out or whatever it is is 6-3 or better right now and makes a bowl. The fact that they were able to play Troy this close down 11 starters already out of bowl contention says a lot of Mike Canales and the kids character. That statement is not made just because it's my team and I'm getting carried away, it's an honest assesment of the talent on the field, we can play with anyone in the belt, and that's minus half of the team and minus Dodge. In a way, losing Dodge was like gaining 11 starters back, it was amazing to see the difference in the team. Like night and day.

Jernigan single handedly won that game for Troy last night, that guy is a true playmaker. Without Jernigan, Mean Green probably win by 14 points last night, you know? Great game but we were chasing you guys all night long. I don't think that you ever had a concern. We tied it up once, but other than that - the Trojans were up by a TD or more for the whole game. We are so close!!! One more year and a new coach - NT will be back at the top!

You have to give credit when it's due and Riley and Dunbar, and the rest of the Eagles, left it all on the field...I never like to see Lance playing against us because I think he's that damn good. I truly believe the SBC record of 7 drafted will be broken in a few years because of better talent and better teams...Good luck in selecting a new coach...I think you guys already have him.
