Huh? The ranking criteria is based on 3 things (and eyeballs aint one of them):
(1) The ranking of the highest-ranked team in the final BCS Standings each year.
(2) The final regular-season rankings of all conference teams in the computer rankings used by the BCS each year.
(3) The number of teams in the top 25 of the final BCS Standings each year, with adjustments to account for differences in the number of members of each conference.
This is why the BE needs a TCU...in order to drag up its ranking when compared to the other conferences.

That's math, I'm talking business. If TV likes the BE, they get to stay an AQ conference. Like I said earlier, I see nothing that shows a process whereby an AQ conference loses it's standing, only how another conference can enter based on performance.
Obviously you and I will have to agree to disagree, but I doubt TCU would do more for the BE than BYU.
