We are in a rebuilding year. Hopefully the team will be better next year.
You're rebuilding? We're starting around 7 freshmen or red-shirt freshmen, plus some guys who've never played a D-1 season before. Don't tell us about rebuilding! We're living it. We've got a number of guys who'll be playing together for three more years after this one.
Just found out that Troy has had only 8 conference losses since 2005, three of them by ULM. Trust me, that amazes me as much as it might anyone else.
11 new starters of defense. New quarterback, center, 2 new receivers. I'm sure I missed someone but I'm ok with how our season has gone considering our youth and lack of depth.
As for ULM you guys have a couple of good linebackers and a gusty quarterback. I look for some good things from Monroe in the future.

We are sooooooo young and inexperienced on defense that it has really cost us. Not to mention the leader of our offensive line is gone and replaced with someone who has never started at center. oh, and our overall offensive leader is a freshman...albeit an extremely talented one, but still makes dumb freshman mistakes that cost us.
