We are ranked below SIX FCS conferences, including the Southland. Middle is ranked at 177, just barely above NT. Not a pretty year for the Belt. The MAC is behind two FCS conferences - but I have never seen the Belt this low - even in our very first year of existence.

Whether we agree/disagree with the Sags this is really bad . . .

This is not a good ranking system right now. It's saying Delaware (AA) could beat Texas. It has Jacksonville State above Troy and South Alabama above half the sunbelt (might not be too far fetched at this point - just hard to believe with South only being around a few years)

Nobody beat a BCS league team this year. We're the only 1-A conference that didn't.

When that happens, you're going to suck in these ratings.

I am not a fan of the Sags . . . never will be . . . that is not the point! The point is that we as a conference are viewed on a national scale in an incredibly negative light . . .

actually, westen ky lost to central arkansas in 2009, not exactly ancient history...

Considering the only OOC wins are against Bowling Green, UAB, Austin Peay, and Souteastern Louisiana.... yeah this ranking is about right.

The Sun Belt Conference, including Troy (we should have beat OSU and UAB), sucks this year...

This will probably change by the end of the year. We will probably still be behind one FCS conference though, maybe two. We have had a lot of bad football against the power six. The bowl games will help a lot though...if we win them.

We should have beat Minnesota and Memphis. We are currently their only wins. Gosh we suck!

I hate to give Dasher an even bigger head, but without him, we aren't nearly as potent. He adds just enough doubt in the minds of the defense of the opposing team that they aren't so aggressive.
