Turf Wars: Not just blue anymore
Eastern Washington has moved in on Boise's claim to fame, except this time you are left seeing red.

So far it has worked for them, they upset the Montana Grizzlies 36-27.

Maybe north Texas could do a Green Field at there new stadium??? Rimshot

The upset of Montana was a big one for them, it's all relative to the level you play at. Montana is one of the teams that's frequently talked about as moving up to FBS. It was cool watching their student section of maybe a couple hundred storm the field. It's hard enough being a Sun Belt fan sometimes, but you have to respect students that have that kind of school spirit at a place like that.

It's too bad LSU's purple field was an April Fool's Joke-it actually doesn't look too bad.

I don't mind it.....as far as colors go.....but they should reverse the endzones.....purple letters, gold/yellow endzone.

That's because you don't live in Louisiana.

For the rest of us purple only looks good during Mardi Gras.

That red will fade like on a 71 Chevy Vega in one season.
