RE: Sagarin Ratings
Would you still be posting the sagrin rankings if Georgia Southern was not ranked ahead of some Sun Belt schools? I don't think so. Listen man, everybody knows the sagrin ranking are crap especially this early in the season. Georgia Southern would win maybe one game in the Sun Belt and thats it. Go post your rankings on 1AA board somewhere where you can pat yourself on the back.

Give him some slack, this is the closest he'll ever get to someone telling him his team matters.

No one gives a **** about your team. No one.

The fact that James Madison is ranked 36 shows how stupid the Sagarin rankings are...

Beating the number 13 team in the nation at their place is worthy of a Top 50 ranking. VT barely lost to #3 Boise and is 2-0 since losing to JM having thrashed ECU and BC. JMU was #2 in FCS when they beat VT, I believe. They've always played BCS teams really close, like App St.

I don't believe so...anybody can win one game. To say they are better than the majority of FBS is ridiculous. Hell, they just beat Liberty 10-3. Liberty must be ranked 40th by your logic.

They lost to powerhouse Maryland last year by 3 in OT. A year they went 6-5.

The year before when they went 12-2 they had a fantastic showing against Duke, losing 31-7.

Unless they are going through their FCS schedule undefeated every year to even consider that they are worth a 36 ranking is absurd. Do you think any team rated 35 or higher would lose more than one game on their schedule every year?

Agree; winning one game is a nice, warm fuzzy, but not much else.
