At this point, I have no good evidence that would allow me to disagree. Of course, I could say that if almost any team in the conference were at the top.

Of course there have been a couple of gut-wrenching loses that have befallen the Trojan Nation, but this is just one ranking. I kinda like to know what more than one site thinks. I follow the Massey site because they have a running average of multiple sites and it's a little less biased...I think these rankings are a better indicator of where the SBC stands.

All of the Sunbelt teams trashed any possibility of getting into the top 25 this year, which is all that really matters.

I wouldn't say it's "no chance in hell" because TROY started last season 1-2. Albeit, 1 loss was to FL. The team went on a win streak and so did Middle. The chances might not be that great, but they are chances none the less.
