North Texas AD athletic director Rick Villarreal did not say head football coach Todd Dodge is in trouble, but it would be nearly impossible not to reach that conclusion after my phone converasation with him today.

Villarreal said in the offseason he wanted to see the program improve this season. There was an "or else" sentiment to that statement as well. Even though Dodge was hired away from Southlake Carroll High School by Villarreal it sounds as if it will take a major turnaround this season for things to remain status quo. ... ...

Where do you get "supporting" out of that writeup?

Other than wanting the team to win, what did he say that's "supporting" Todd Dodge?

Not sure if you were directing that to me or to the article in general.
I simply cut and paste the title of the article.

North TExas has alot of potential, but I don't see Dodge helping them realizing it.

That's all merely AD speak. What else is he supposed to say after three games?
