OT- Vote for Troy University's Sound of the South!
CBS and Hawaii Five-O are having a contest for collegiate marching bands. Each band has submitted a video that will be voted on by the public. Fans can vote once per day for the band of their choice. The winning band will be featured on national television during the CBS revival of Hawaii Five-O on CBS and will be awarded $25,000.
Here's the link: http://promotions.mardenkane.com/cbs/marchingbandmania
You can vote once per day until October 4th! Thanks for all your support!

LOUD does not equal 'good'.
I voted for Stillman, they need the pub more.

Love the Sound of the South. They are not just loud. They are a GREAT college band. They look good, and sound GREAT! They blew LSU out of the wather when I went to the Troy LSU game two years ago.

Why vote for Troy? It's called "Marching" Band for a reason!
My vote(s) would probably go in this order:
Northwestern
Clemson
Notre Dame
Maryland
Otterbein -- they didn't march but at least the video was worth watching

Way to make something of your conference, folks. Troy offers the best performance in the contest. Notre Dame was good and entertaining but violated the terms of the contest by mixing in another song. Otterbein was funny in a very small time way. Stillman was slow and sad.

I'm sorry, I don't see how voting for Troy's band will beneift USA or the conference.

This is your opinion, and one I do not share. It's called "Marching" Band for a reason.

Notre Dame was only my third choice. If they violated the rules, why haven't they been disqualified?

It was better than Troy's video, in which the band members just 'stood' on the field and acted like they can dance.

I won't disagree with this point.
