ASU @ Troy
ASU showed some life and a running game against ULM. Troy suffered a heart-breaker...who will come out better this weekend depends on how each team handles success and disappointment. I can't call this one.

FIU @ Maryland - FIU is hard to figure but I think the 4th quarter loss to TA&M adds doubt in the back of their mind. Maryland wins a squeaker.

NT @ FAU - too many injuries and low morale spell another defeat for NT. FAU will just have more confidence and the home field advantage.

MT @ UL - this will be a tight ball game but MT is in meltdown mode right now and the Cajuns will have some confidence after whooping ASU. Cajuns squeak one out.

SELA @ ULM - if ULM plays like they did late in the second quarter and early 3rd quarter like they did at ASU, SELA will be in for a long day. ULM going away.

WKU @ USF - WKU should be pesky but give the game to USF due to home field advantage and WKU growing pains.

Have you not seen stAte's road record or its defensive yardage allowed per game?

Vegas has this at -11 which is about 4 to 1 on the money line - and that correlates to a 20% chance of stAte winning straight up, more or less.

If in doubt, pick Troy. :)

The Co-OPOW are squaring off in Troy, AL this weekend! Looking forward to starting the #Drive for Five and turning this season around! It looks like there will be plenty of points to be had by both teams...

Troy - for no other reason it's a stAte road game
Maryland - FIU hasn't learned how to finish
FAU - I'm hoping NT doesn't fire dodge until well AFTER they play the Cajuns
CAJUNS - because we need it heading toward an October that starts with OSU and Troy
ULM - should win but SLU has a very good passing attack, so....
USF - until WKU proves differently

Will we combine for 1,000 yards of offense? It's very possible.

At this point, I don't care about the yards, just keeping the other team out of our endzone is a start for me. We are definitely going to have to quite tinkering with the secondary and let some kids grow into positions. But, to be fair, the secondary has more players this season, but they have no experience. They've either been hurt of quit...this will be a challenge, to be sure...

Bolded indicates winner:

ASU @ Troy
No clue on this one. A LOT will depend on how Troy players recover from that loss. It had to be a morale crusher. Is it time for Troy's SunBelt domination end? Could be. I cant decide at all

FIU @ Maryland

FIU is playing well, and will be in it. I dont think they can finish off and the depth bites em in the end.

NT @ Florida Atlantic

I originally had this as the year that UNT beats FAU, but with the plague of injuries theyve had I dont see that now. FAU will key in on Dunbar and Riley cant throw more then 10 yards. Dodge ball on its way out.

MT @ UL

MTSU in full on implosion mode and dealing with Dasher Diseasse and hurt QB's. UL has looked good. MTSU board melts down in epic fashion.

SE Louisiana @ ULM
I know nothing about SE Louisiana. I'm assuming they are a FCS team. ULM should win this.

WKU @ USF

USF is ok, but they are still an AQ team. WKU should lose.

JONESBORO — Arkansas State sophomore Ryan Aplin and Troy redshirt freshman Corey Robinson shared the offensive player of the week award given by the Sun Belt Conference on Monday.

The two quarterbacks will share the same field Saturday afternoon when their teams meet at Troy’s Veterans Memorial Stadium for what could be a high-scoring contest.

Man! These are two QBs that are in the top 10 nationally in passing so far this season and I'm sure they'll stay there until the end! Aplin is ranked 4th in passing and Robinson is 6th...Come on SBC QBs...let's pick it up! I'm looking for JVC to pick it up also, if he doesn't get pulled from anymore games 03-shhhh

51. Ryan Aplin 138.5
