Troy's starting FS Bryant McKissic has left the program for unknown reasons at the moment. He was already taking over for the original starter at FS Barry Valcin after Valcin had suffered a serious ankle injury to keep him out for the season.

Starting DE Mario Addison, proabably Troy's best defensive player, has a broken hand. Troy is supposedly going to play LB Jacoby Thomas as a DE just to have some depth there now.

Starting OL Jacob Creech re-injured his shoulder against UAB and will likely be headed for another MRI.

RB Shawn Southward and CB Jimmie Anderson were dinged up during the UAB game. They might be back for the ASU game.

LB Kannoris Davis was thought to be ready for the UAB game, but is recovering from a collapsed lung.

Talk about bad luck. Troy and UNT might be in trouble. Although I still think UNT has the most unfortunate injury situation.

Whether you're getting beaten with a metal pipe or beaten with a rubber hose, it's still not fun taking a beating.

I feel for you guys and hope you have a better time bouncing back from the injuries than what we're probably going to suffer through.

I sincerely feel for your guys and the amount of injuries. Here's hoping for full and speedy recoveries of all the kids, first and foremost. Good luck.

Hopefully the rest of the SBC teams can keep a low injury list the rest of the season.
