I think we can beat anyone in our conference at Jonesboro. But on the road in the SBC, we're a totally different team. We play great against AQ teams, and fall apart at ULL....every year.
I'll never understand it.

I was quite pleased with the crowd. Despite and 0-2 start and a horrible performance against the Ragin Cajuns...at least the first 3 quarters, I didn't think we would break 20K.

Our offense came out HOT and the crowd got into it. ULM settled down late in the 2nd quarter and early 3rd quarter and started making a game of it.

I'll tell y'all that ASU fans are starving for success and if we could ever get over the 6 win hump I think ASU fans would come out in droves.

Ya'll beat Monroe because you were clearly better that night.

However, watching the game, it just appeared to me that stAte did nothing to adjust to Browning's scrambling which kept just about all of their drives alive.

ULM had 2 total yards of offense and were in a 14-0 hole after the first quarter. In the last three quarters the Warhawks finally woke up and put up 389 yards and 20 points. ASU jumped on us early...which I give them full credit for, great game plan...and that was the difference. The Red Wolves had around 162 yards of offense in the first quarter and 312 the rest of the game.

ASU was able to run on ULM, which they couldn't do in the previous two games. Now that there is film on ULM's defense, and offense, I fully expect teams to run the ball. A number of ULM's rushing yards against the ASU defense was Browning having to run for his life. ASU still insist on rushing four the majority of the time, and that hurt them against the Cajuns as well. I think we will all have a better read on ULM after the fourth game.

Yeah, it was not a good game for us. Our offensive line is killing us. Kolton will be great when he gets some protection. I don't know where our defense from the UA game was. They definitely didn't show up for ASU.
