Well, and that's why everyone should go and vote for their own 10th Anniversary SBC Football Team. I certainly think you may have an argument for Carrington or Ware.

Here is my question to you, this is not a list in my opinion of the best pro athletes to come out of the SBC: So do you penalize an athlete that has a body of work over for three or four years, for someone that played one year and was Def. Player of the Year? Not in my book, Ware may have been the best pro prospect out of the SBC period. But that fact that there are a group of guys that played more then one year on the that list and a larger body of work made it much more difficult in my opinion.

There are some no brainers on that list in my opinion; Smith, Fenroy, Cobb, Fitzerald should be easy for most. If you don't agree with that, look at their body of work and their stats.

So even though D-Ware was arguably one of the best DE's in Sun Belt history, he shouldn't be a pick just because he didn't get to play but one year in the SBC? err....

No, D-Ware was arguably the most dominate def. player in the SBC for one year. And actually there is no argument at all on that fact. One year does not make a career when you look at the stats of the other nominees. So again, you can measure one year against more then one year of performance. I didn't because that is my standard for every other position. Would you be making the same argument for Tyrell Fenroy if he only had one great year, or would you look at the guy that rushed for over 1,000 yards four straigth years? I don't think so.

Then you wouldn't have had Carrington either then, because his senior year was nothing like his MVP season. Hall was their best DL last season, as he is this year.
