Thanks for the heads up!

Like I've posted before, Peoria Manual was the TRUTH when I was in Illinois at Freeport High School (we produced Indiana Guard Jamaal Meeks and Butler Small Forward Willie Veasley). Seeing that we already landed a football commit from Peoria Manual in Watson, perhaps this could be the beginning of a pipeline of talent coming from that area.

Illinois in general is loaded with talent. After New York and California, no one produces more McDonals All Americans than Illinois.

Ok did some research...looks like the Manual assistant coach who has connections everywhere has taken a liking to EMU and the coaching staff..the football player we might get from them plays basketball too and the pg is a 2012 kid with D1 offers as well. Looks like they will be at the fb game saturday Great job coaches

Agree 100% with illinois scout. The program itself has produced some great players over the years and is apparently loaded for the upcoming season as well. I believe the PG's name is Stokes.

Anyone have anymore info on any visits for the Army game. Could be a number of recruits there but that is only speculation on my part.

Talked to the coach that brought the kids to the game and he said the kids loved EMU and that they brought another 2012 foward from Manual as well with them..so there was 3 of them..the football player and the two recruits...according to the coach the staff was top notch and if this goes through it is because of Andy Moore...just getting them to come to EMU is huge....heard the assistant above is coming to Manual soon to see them again...this could be absolutely huge for EMU to have a Manual pipeline..great job coaches

Here are the names you've been looking for...

"Class of 2012 Jacoby Roddy and Kiki Stokes took an unofficial visit to Eastern Michigan over the weekend according to Ill. Wolves coach Mike Mullins.
Stokes will also visit Southern Illinois this coming weekend."

Looks like EMU is competing with SIU for these kids.
