Word is there will be some major moves the next few weeks. This includes the Big East bringing in East Carolina for football, and possibly one more team (Temple). Any opinions on how this may affect conference movement moving forward.

I think things may get ugly.

The Big East really needs at least one more football member and needs no basketball members. I think Temple or ECU wins that battle because they are the only two who would join football only without reservation.

I think MemphisTiger is just trying to stir the ECU folks up. I'm not connected, but I think I would hear something concerning ECU before MemphisTiger would, and I've haven't heard a thing. By the way, I really think the Sunbelt is an improving conference and if thing fell apart for ECU conference wise, I would be proud for ECU to be a part of your conference.

Temple to the WAC as a fb only, the Wac needs fb teams bad.

I heard Temple is being courted by the SEC...but for women's softball only.
