Nice little articles from the Chi Tribune on EMU cleaning up.

Great PR and it didn't cost anything.

If so that would make 16.

It was a news article from November.

I'm assuming it still holds but in recruiting November is a long time ago.

I can find nothing recent about Dylan Brooks. I did find this page about his senior season stats, including a 28-20 win over my alma mater, Niles. Boooo! 03-weeping

Blake Poole
Inside linebacker
Santa Ana, California
Santa Ana C.C.

* Ht:6'3"
* Wt:230 lbs
* 40:4.6 secs
* Class:2011 (Junior College)

And just like that...
There's the 6'3 linebacker we were looking for, LoL.
Who knows if either of these guys can play (I certainly am hoping they can), but I'm just glad to see that they're not landing the 6'1 190lbs linebackers

Unfortunately, I'm back to work today (after being off for almost a week with a bunch of 'use or lose' leave so I won't be Googling all day).

It would be a good Google project.

This kid sounds like a steal can't wait to see em play.GoEagles!

I'm requesting this be made an 'important' thread. We can try to keep it updated with VERBALS ONLY, no rumors or speculation.

I Know i'm late but this Watson kid seems to have huge upside and high ceiling but what are his weaknesses?

RE: 2011 FB Verbals Thread
This thread basically dried up about 4 months ago but I decided to start reviewing it to see what we SAID (past tense) vs. what we NOW KNOW (present tense).

Here is my post from Jan 20. Wow, we dead on. Read some of the other posts about Poole, Kurtz, etc.

Cudworth from Dec 8 from Rivals.com

"I am on my way to Arizona right now for an unofficial visit," Cudworth said. "I talked to New Mexico State yesterday and they are very interested. Utah and Boise State are looking at me. I talked to Oregon State earlier this week and they may come down to see me in person next week."

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...rth-117301

There are lot of players who sign with the MAC who could just as easily ended up in say a BCS school or other big time school like Boise, Utah, etc. (in this case).

Someone posted elsewhere that this kid is a 'beast' - something we certainly need at LB.
