With football season about to start I thought it would be interesting to see what people think is the most important/biggest game for your respective school.

For me, it would be between Minnesota and Troy. Minnesota because that would be a huge win (publicity) at home and it would keep the momentum that we had last year. As for Troy, we definitely need to get that monkey off our back and it will be on national TV.

For ASU it would be ULL. The second games of the season and the first conference game. Roberts has never won on the road against the Cajuns.

I'll take a win over Minnesotta as long as the Troy loss isn't another blow out.

A win over Minnesotta means nothing if you lose to Troy. The experts will call it a fluke win.

Nah, not if we go 10-2 in the regular season and/or Troy has a good season.

Playing at UL is always a scary game for MTSU.

If we lay an egg or even just start slowly, things could get UGLY in the stadium. A loss, particularly a bad loss, could absolutely destroy the entire year in terms of optimism and attendance.

Its cliche but for FAU this year its the truth.

I think the Middle game is a no-brainer for TROY, but the BG game plus the stAte game is always a pepto game for me. A personal favorite would be to knock off the pokes at home

Yep....ULL.....that'll dictate our season....much like the Troy game last year.

All of them for WKU. We need to win at least a couple of them to get our program out of the cellar. Would love to surprise a few folks this season.

The first one at home v. Rutgers. Big crowd, Big game...will set the tone for all of our OOC games.

Next most important game will be our first Sun Belt game on Oct. 9th v. the red towel wavers. This again will set the tone for Conference play.

Football is less than a month away.

I'm not sure about the most important but the sweetest will be watching Troy spank the **** out of UAB this year in Birmingham.

I like our rivalry with MTSU and all but our rivalry with UAB is in the blood...and in-state.

I'll agree with ya'll on the Cajuns v. Wolves. It's an early game but it's probably the single game in conference in which both programs get a idea of who they are this year and whether a change at the helm is needed.

My prediction is the losing coach hits the unemployment line.
