ESPN.com drops non-BCS coverage
Graham Watson is no longer with ESPN as of 4 hours ago, according to Twitter. With that, ESPN no longer employs any writer that pays attention to non-BCS teams. All their other college sports writers are assigned to a specific BCS conference, and the few general writers stick to top-25 teams.

Hopefully she will be picked up by one of the other major outlets...would still like to follow her writing.

That sucks, I hope they replace her.

Guess I can stop going to the college football blog there now.

RE: ESPN.com drops non-BCS coverage
First off, we are all in the BCS. Our conference does not get an auto-bid but we are all (technically) BCS schools :)

Secondly, Boise State moved to the MWC - which is a non-auto invite... The MWC was banking on Utah being a member to get auto bid status but that is gone now so they are on the exact same level as the Belt.

Rumor had it that ESPN declined to renew her contract. That was more than a month ago.

That's stinks. I really enjoyed reading her columns/blogs. Hopefully ESPN will replace her. Anyone know why they did not renew her contract?
