I dunno. If WKU loses they will say it was with Elson's players, and UNT wants a new coach so if they lose then there is a silver lining for them.

I like that idea. You should do it!
Although ideally it would be before all of the "professional" polls come out as to not influence the voting.
Maybe you should have everybody PM thier vote to you (and copy somebody else to ensure integrity of the poll) so that the results would be a surprise?

What has Cristobal done to prove he is a good coach... NOTHING!
He can recruit... maybe, they have "out-recruited" us every season he has been there, but still nothing to show for it. So he for sure is not a better coach than Howard. Howard may be old and stuck in his ways of a changing game, but he still has done way more with our program in the short amount of time than MC has done with FIU, and there is no stat or fact out there to prove it!
And that statement of FIU is going to turn-it-around and be a powerhouse this year... pffft... "they" say that every year.
*Now I'm not saying FIU will always suck, and I am not saying they will never beat us, because they will, and yeah, it may even be this year. I am just going against your statement of MC is a better coach than HS... NO WAY!
Howard is a great coach, and Mario hasn't done anything (yet) to prove he belongs on the same level as HS. No way he is a better coach right now.
As far as recruiting goes, although Mario's recruiting efforst and results have been lately outstanding...on paper....the fact is that in Cristobal's first recruiting year. FIU did not out-recruit FAU at all. I posted a while ago on both FAU and FIU sites, a detailed year by year comparison to ease that misconception that FIU has always 'outrecruited' FAU on paper. For some reason some FAU fans still repeat and repeat this story....and repeat it again without looking at facts.
Now, it is apparent that FIU has "out-recruited" FAU in the past 2 years...going on the third...on paper, and yes, FIU hasn't beaten FAU yet. Mario has to show now he can win, because he now has 3 pretty strong recruiting classes in a row and other than his second year, not much to show for it.
As for the question, I also picked Troy-MTSU game.

What's the talk in Kitty Country... do you guys still have faith in him to turn the program around? Is he on the Hot Seat this year? Because I would think without a better year this year, it might be time to go? Just curious to know your take on the situation???
