MBB: ASU picks up Transfer to replace Reed
ASU recieved a commitment today from 5'11" Combo Guard J.R. Strowbridge today. Strowbridge is transferring from Jacksonville State where he averaged 13 PPG and shot 38 percent from 3 point range

Strowbridge is eligible to play immediately per the obscure NCAA rule that allows Graduates to transfer without penalty. He will have 1 year to play at ASU. Simply giving us time to recruit another High school player to replace Reed

An Alabama native that originally played at Nebraska, I believe.

Solid pick up. I think we recruited him a few years ago.

Brady is really getting it done.

Reed (spit) is the only real contributor we lost from last year. ASU adds Malcoln Kirkland (6'8" transfer from OK St.), Chano Rashidudden (6'9" transfer from UTEP), Kinley Branch (6'7" swingman), Edward Townsel (FR PG from MS) and Strowbridge. Daniel Bryant should also return from injury at the #2 spot and Daniel Boone MAY get to come back.

Everyone but Strowbridge, Allison and Jeremy Thomas will be back for 2011 as well.
