RE: Predict your team's season.
[sarcasm] I know that ALL SunBelt teams will have one less loss since they don't play the Jags. [/sarcasm]

RE: Predict your team's season.
Okay... Fasten your seatbelt.
I know we suck and the salty, stringy crow meat is plentiful. But hey this is for fun, right?
at Nebraska L -- No competition.
Kentucky L -- Unless we have improved by about 50 points since the last time we played them.
Indiana W (STUNNER) -- After fattening up on a Towson cupcake in thier season opener, Indiana will roll into Bowling Green to see our first sell out since the stadium expansion assuming that they will roll the Toppers. NOT. SO. FAST. This Topper team is deeper, more experienced, more talented, and better conditioned than last year's team. And after opening up 0-2 in 2010... they will be hungry. Very hungry. Starved even. The Hoosiers get blindsided and once again take on the position of laughing stock of the Big Ten. And Hoosier nation finds out that David Elson is bad luck.
South Florida L -- The Bulls were nervous for three quarters in Bowling Green last year. And after WKU knocks off Indiana, they will not take WKU for granted.
Florida International W -- Because I think we will win 2-3 games this season and this is one of the more winnable games on the schedule. What do I know? Maybe we get blown out.
Louisiana-Monroe L -- No reason... just a feeling.
at Louisiana-Lafayette L -- another L on the road.
North Texas W -- at home we finally pick these guys off.
Florida Atlantic L -- The Owls pull out the win and three FAU cheerleaders are treated for hypothermia.
at Arkansas State L -- WKU fans are deep into hoops at this point. Maybe Arkansas State fans will be also.
Middle Tennessee L -- God knows I'd love to win this one. Won't happen though.
at Troy L -- we always seem to give these guys a fight though.

That's the way I feel about North Texas vs FAU. Sumbitches own UNT.

RE: Predict your team's season.
I will be the first for ASU:
@ Auburn- L
@ ULL- W (History of close games but ASU's defense is going to be strong. Not an easy one though)
ULM- W (Another one with close games but the home team typically fares well)
@ Troy- L (ASU's done it at Troy before but not this year.)
Louisville- W (ASU blew it against them on the road last year and we're at home)
@ UNT- L (ASU is better but not good on the road and this will be one where they slip up)
@ Indiana- L (Again, on the road or I'd say ASU pulls it out)
FAU- W (Home team wins and FAU replaces too much on the OL to win this one)
MTSU- L (This will be a nailbiter though)
WKU- W (WKU will have a very hard time scoring at ASU Stadium)
@Navy- L
@ FIU- W (ASU's defense propels them to a rare road win)
6-6
ULL is really the key and a toss up in my opinion. ASU could slip up and beat one of Indiana, Troy or MTSU when they shouldn't, but could lose one they shouldn't like FIU or ULM as well.

It's hard to argue with that.
ULL is key to the entire season. If we drop that road game, we could start a slide much like last year after Troy (losing 6 of the next 7).
I can easily see a 4-5 win season, with our team learning a new offense....and I can also see 6-7 if it gels quickly.
If we beat Louisville, we won't lose to UNT.....even though it's on the road.
I do think regardless of our record, MTSU is going down in Jonesboro. It's my upset pick of the year.

I really think we are lucky that our defense is and has been so constistently good and deep that our offense can afford a little time to hit full stride. Aplin is a better passer than Leonard and he's athletic enough. Topping the offensive production from last year shouldn't be a tall order even for a group learning the no huddle.
You are probably right about UNT but it wouldn't shock me to see us blow that one.

I think we'll win all the ones in which we score more points.
