Give Temple the ultimatum - either join in all sports, or you're done after this year.

Prep Illinois State to replace Temple. The Redbirds have a fantastic bb arena, and a football stadium expansion on the board.

Tell Indiana State and Missouri State to get their athletic programs up to Illinois State levels, and then give serious consideration.

I do not want to see SIU or WKU in the MAC. We have enough "toothless" members as is. Besides, they're too far south, and they don't match the MAC footprint.

I say we wait and see who is left without a conference in D1A (if any) after all is said and done in realignment.

I'd rather add (and subtract a few) teams in our conference.

I'd rather add a few teams to the MAC that are already FBS and let a few that are currently FBS drop down a level, if they can't fully commit and do what it takes to remain on the FBS level.

The geography of both ISU's and MSU fit nicely. Going South, East, or West doesn't do anything but drain our travel expenses. Look at Marshall. They are drowning in debt and they haven't got sh!t to show for it (performance/attendance-wise). They, and we were much better off when they were in the MAC. They will never have that chance again.
