Utah just announced it will join the PAC10 starting the 2011 season.

Lot of losses coming to some Pac-10 schools that probably won't be worth the few extra tv dollars.

I don't think the PAC-10 schools believe Utah is as good as they are. They probably think Utah will be a team they can beat up on.

Didn't they just grab a pretty good chunk of a couple growing Mountain markets. I think the market value of the PAC just went up nicely. Plus they just put a huge dent in the MWC's ability to go AQ.

I wonder if Orin is still a friend of ours (i.e. the non-AQ's) now that Utah has gone to the PAC?

I think they gained far more in future than present value. I don't think this deal will put them in the Big 10 realm and maybe not SEC realm of money but if population trends hold, it will eventually pay off.

First issue is getting Utah support on par with BYU to really tap in, and second issue is get Colorado athletics to level of relevance.
