It also comes on the heels of this week’s NCAA vote that changes its at-large bowl bid regulations. The NCAA passed a proposal pushed by Big 12 commissioner Dan Beebe that allows bowls to consider all bowl-eligible teams equally, and not give consideration to teams with winning records ahead of those with 6-6 records.

Dan Beebe was the Ohio Valley Conference commish back when MT left the 1-aa ranks. I can assure you, he is Grade A douchebag.

He threw a dollar bill at one of our guys at a conference meeting.......... said that's for your new stadium, and laughed. He thought we didn't have a chance at succeeding in 1-A ball.
