Hey Guys -- This should make your day. There was a news story on one of the Phoenix TV stations this afternoon and the story centered on some research done/being done at the University of Louisiana. The young lady in the news clip was dressed in Cajun red so there you go !!!

The name is obviously starting to take root.

It's gone outside of Louisiana more then people think. Its not just around Lafayette, that's why it bothers the hell out of some folks.

If you google "University of Louisiana", the first result it returns is The University of Louisiana @ Lafayette... and google is never wrong!

Perhaps he is trying to say that when you try to find out "who" the "University of Louisiana", the first "match" is the school in Lafayette.
Guess it depends on how you read it. But then again, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express this weekend. In Phoenix, but I still missed the report. Guess I was on the golf course! And I don't care how "dry" it it, 109 is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My post was along the same lines as MW's. But since I am a USA fan I guess I really wasn't invited to weigh in on the post.

And, if you Google the University of Texas, the first school listed is UT at Austin, vs. UT Arlington, UT El Paso, etc. No different for UL.
