Yes, it's an interesting situation to be in, but the fact they finished 8th, lost 2 in a row in the tournament, and ended up the year with a 3-7 record in their last 10 games doesn't help. Compound that with the fact that selection committe knows about the unfortunate season-ending injury to Ridings, and I would think their chances are very dim. However, their RPI (39 in boyds, and 42 in warrennolan) today before the FIU game, is very, very good, and helps the rest of the SBC teams with their own chances, in my opinion.

FIU, if they can make the championship game, may get in with all of the Wittels pub. Hell, it cannot hurt.

The best thing for the conference would once again be FAU not winning the tourney. It would guarantee an Auto bid to go with ULL and FAU's sure at large bids
