Yeah,

If you click on the link to that site in his blog it basically has every SunBelt team going back to 1-AA.

RE: FAU back to 1-aa ?
Yeah I'd build my worry around some writer coming up with a list of new conferences based on what pops into their head while sitting around the newsroom needing to fill column inches.

Realignment isn't about who gets to be in the club, its about maximizing revenue. There is always going to be a lower tier that survives on what little they can make off donations and ticket sales but primarily surviving based on institutional transfers (student fees, auxillary university income, or some combination thereof) and game guarantees received for being willing to go play someone without a return game.

In the Sun Belt, MAC, WAC, CUSA, and to a lesser degree the MWC, we know how to survive without significant conference income. We understand that our primary TV value comes from providing desired content at times the wealthiest schools are unwilling to play, whether it be Tuesday night, or late on Friday evening.

As long as we can find seven other schools to align with so that we have 8 total, we've got a conference and we live to fight another day. Now, cut Baylor, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Vandy, Mississippi State, or Northwestern off that money line and let's see how well they survive. They've built their income models knowing they are going to sell a lot of tickets to visitors, and they receive TV money well in excess of their actual value. Slice their budgets down to $18 million and see if they can make it.

Heres the direct link to the breakdown.

Not one Belt team moves on and even LA Tech goes back to 1-AA
