RE: New Orleans; GMAC Bowl schedule
I like the fact that the NOB is on a Saturday instead of a Sunday like last year, but I think the only reason the NOB was on a Sunday is because the Saints played the Cowboys on Saturday.

The previous two New Orleans Bowls have been on Sunday. Before that I believe it was on Friday.

by thing is that it's at 9pm ET. seems like a late start like that will hurt viewership a little.

That's a bit late....but still prime-time.....same as Monday Night Football (most years).

Yeah, Saturday night at 8PM CST is perfect. The weekly primetime ESPN game is usually a staggered start. 6:45 on ESPN and 7:00 on ESPN2. An hour later than that, right at the start of bowl season, is great.
