Tim Hawkins QB, 6' 2" So, Corpus Christi, Texas(Carroll HS)
High School: Was a three-year letterman for Coach Terry Morris at Carroll High School ... played wide receiver as a sophomore before starting his last two seasons at quarterback ... led Carroll to an 8-3 record and playoff experience in 2007 ... finished the season with 1,416 yards passing and 14 touchdown passes while rushing for 747 yards and 10 more touchdowns ... was named All-District 28-5A First-Team, All-Metro First-Team and All-South Texas ... also lettered on Carroll's basketball team and is a regional qualifier in the 300m hurdles in track.

2009: Sat out season as a redshirt.
High School: Four-year starter at quarterback for his father and coach Chris Soza ... passed for 2,248 yards and 25 TDs, rushed for 1,001 yards and 15 touchdowns ... averaged 39 yards per punt, and registered 28 tackles and two interceptions on defense as a senior ... also had three kickoffs with one touchback, and drop-kicked two extra points ... ended his career with 8,052 yards passing with 86 touchdowns, along with 1,598 yards rushing with 29 touchdowns ... averaged 37 yards per punt, and recorded 65 tackles and five interceptions throughout hi career... was named the 2008 30-4A MVP ... named All South Texas Offensive Player of the Year, and an All Area First-Team QB ... was the District Offensive Player of the Year, and an All-South Texas First Team quarterback, All Area Co-Offensive MVP ... named an All-State quarterback Honorable Mention as a junior ... named the District Offensive Player of the Year in 2006 and Newcomer of the Year in 2005 ... was a four-time District All-Academic selection ... was the starting point guard on Beeville's basketball team, a pitcher on the school's baseball team, a regional qualifier in track and field, a member of the golf team, and ranked Number Two in his senior class.

Tyler Arndt, QB, 6'4", 205, Cuero, Texas (Cuero High School)
Ranked among the Top 32 quarterbacks in the nation by ESPN...named All-District 28-3A and District MVP as a junior and senior...chosen All-Area First-Team and All State Third-Team in 2008...Named All-State First-Team in 2009...led Cuero to a 13-1 record as a senior with the lone loss coming in the State semifinals under head coach Mark Reeve... finished his high school career passing for 7,100 yards and 75 touchdowns...completed 154 of his 251 passes for 2,362 yards and 27 touchdowns as a senior...completed 134 of 212 passes for 2,210 yards and 25 touchdowns in 2008...completed 67 percent of his passes for 2,400 yards and 23 touchdowns in 2007...led Cuero to a three-year record of 36-5...also earned All-State honors as an outfielder for Cuero's baseball team .. also earned All-District and All-Area recognition in baseball...major at Texas State will be business... is the son of Nancy and Michael Arndt...chose to attend Texas State after being recruited by Houston, Vanderbilt, Missouri, TCU, Virginia, Arizona and Purdue.
