USA wins the series with ASU by coming back off ASU's closer in the 9th inning

USA is the best team in this league... That might be the most annoying offense to face. Ive seen enough infield wierd hop singles for an army now.

Now that ive said that I hope someone pays them back in spades for their celebration after the game on our field. You won a regular season conference game against a team you are very likely to see again come tourney time...the last thing you need to do is celebrate like you just won the League title... that was uncalled for and I now will hope they lose every game for the rest of the season for it

On a side note, Their starters have been struggling of late and I see why They are averaging throwing over 150 pitches per start...Those guys might be ripe for the picking come tourney time... I hope Baxter and Hanks didnt take offense to the "Tommy John" chants a few of our fans were throwing at them

USA won an emotional rubber game in the 9th inning to win the series against the team right on their heels in the standings. I would have been emotionless too.

For real. It was kind of a big game.

As for Hanks and Baxter, frankly, I am a little worried about them. They have thrown a ton of pitches, but we have an off weekend next weekend instead of playing an OOC series. Hopefully 10 days off can freshen them up a bit. Plus, like I said early, they very well could just now be getting over the sickness that swept through the team over the WKU weekend. I guess we'll see come tourney time.

And don't worry about the chants. If ASU were playing here, we would have had fun yelling "CHOKE CHOKE CHOKE" at your closer today.
