Thanks, but the reality is Trey, would never have come to CMU, or, for that matter, any other MAC school, had his father not been the coach. On the other hand, Butler proved that the "mids" can come up and bite people in the @ss, e.g., Misdemeanor State (as well as giving PUKE a run for their money). I can only fathom a team composed of Kool, Majerle, Kaman, Roundfield, and Ziegler! It would be, "...lights out, baby!"

It doesn't matter why he is at CMU. He'll get a good education, be guided by his father and have an opportunity to shine on the basketball court as well as in the classroom.

CMU has proven itself to be a very competitive program in basketball, football and, especially, wrestling. He will do fine there and elevate the game of every player on CMU's team.

Also, it will elevate the play of the teams CMU plays.

Also, CMU is a good school as is Western. All the bashing baffles me, because I know too many success stories from both schools.

Believe me, I'm used to the bashing. I live in Madison (home of Shirley Manson & Garbage --- even though they're on hiatus). My brother, a BROwNCOw, lives in Michigan, and a sister, a HURONator, who lives in Alabama. Things can get really testy when we reunite for a football game. To their credit, both called me after the GMAC Bowl, and said, "...that was the best bowl game of the season!" So, even though the rivalry can be intense, we still possess the compassion/respect for fellow MAC schools. And as you state, when one or more of us does well, we all do well. As it should be.
